Tim Sams, Ph.D. is a University of Michigan graduate (Go Blue!) with 30 years of clinical experience as a rehabilitation and pain psychologist. He is the author of ABC's of Pain Relief and Treatment: Advances, Breakthroughs and Choices. He has been on staff at several universities and trained medical residents and fellows as a clinical faculty member at the University of California - Irvine. He is a frequent lecturer at rehabilitation and pain conferences across the nation. He works closely with spinal surgeons, pain physicians, and manufacturers' representatives to remove the barriers to SCS and Pain Pump trial and implant. With a post-doctoral Master's in Clinical Psychopharmacology, he can help physicians manage commonly prescribed pain and psychotropic medications.
Fay Enshaian is a Biofeedback Therapist with over 30 years experience in treating painful medical conditions. She has taught biofeedback to Behavioral Medicine residents and fellows and worked in inpatient psychiatric facilities. She received her B.A. in psychology and her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Hope University. As an MFT intern, she provides longer term psychotherapy for our patients who need ongoing care.
Eola Force is our practice manager. She is a Nurse Practitioner who has spent the past 20 years treating pain patients. She also consults to pain practices, including our biobehavioral pain psychology practice. She continues to see patients a few days per week, but we are fortunate to have her manage our practice.
